Veri*factu is coming: January 1, 2027

From January 1, 2027 (companies; self-employed: July 1, 2027, RD-ley 15/2025) all invoicing software in Spain must comply with Veri*factu. Using non-compliant software carries fines of up to €50,000 per fiscal year. 2026 is the penalty-free adaptation window.

ORIGO generates the chained hash record and QR on every ticket and meets the technical requirements demanded of software vendors since July 2025.

An honest comparison

A cloud POS costs €50–175 per store per month — POS only. Adding production, warehouse, purchasing and accounting means more modules, more vendors and more integrations. ORIGO delivers it in one platform, with one partner, for the price of a high-end POS.

Frequently asked questions

What is Veri*factu and when does it become mandatory?

It is the Spanish Tax Agency's verifiable invoicing system (RD 1007/2023). It becomes mandatory on January 1, 2027 for companies and July 1, 2027 for the self-employed. ORIGO already meets the technical requirements demanded of software vendors.

How long does implementation take?

Between 2 and 4 weeks per chain, including data migration (products, recipes, suppliers, customers) and staff training, without interrupting store operations.

Does the POS work if the internet goes down?

Yes. The POS keeps selling in offline mode and syncs automatically once the connection is restored.

Can I migrate from my current system?

Yes. We import your catalog, prices and historical data from Excel or from your current POS as part of the implementation.

In which languages do you offer support?

Spanish, English and Chinese, directly with our engineering team — no external call centers.
